About the site
- Who runs this
- It is written by people with no connection to Zion Market or to whoever operates it. There is no relationship, no arrangement and no contact. This is not the market and it cannot act on the market's behalf or yours.
- What it is for
- One thing. Describing the waits that come with using a market of this kind, honestly, with the mechanism underneath each one, so that a silence is legible instead of alarming.
- What it will not do
- It will not tell you what to buy, from whom, or how. It will not describe goods, handling or concealment. It will not tell you that anything is currently working. It will not rank the two addresses it publishes.
- Why it looks like this
- Because the layout is borrowed from public service design, where the point is that a person under stress can read the page. That is the right constraint for a site people arrive at while something is going wrong.
About the bands
- Are the bands measured
- No. Nothing on this site has been timed. Each band is argued from the shape of the thing you are waiting for, and the argument is set out on where the bands come from.
- My wait is longer than the band says
- The band is not a promise about your case. It is the range the mechanism produces when nothing has gone wrong. If you are outside it, the second column on the card is where to look, and being outside it by one step is common and usually means nothing.
- Why no averages
- Because there is no data behind this site and any figure would therefore be invented or borrowed from somebody whose situation you do not know. Why there are no numbers gives the full reasoning.
- Why is open-ended a band
- Because the alternative is inventing a ceiling. Those waits have nothing in their mechanism that ends them, so the card names a condition that should end your waiting instead of a duration that does not exist.
About the addresses
- Are these checked
- No, and this is the answer that matters most on this site. Nothing here contacts either string. There is no uptime figure, no status light and no last checked date on any page, and their absence is the point.
- Which one should I use
- This site has no view. They are printed in the order they were supplied, unlabelled and unranked, and characterising them would be a judgement nobody outside is positioned to make.
- Why are they on every page
- Because people arrive on a single card from a search result and should not have to navigate to see what the site publishes. The addresses page explains the reasoning.
- What if neither answers
- Then this site cannot help, and it will not guess. An address coming back covers the shape of that wait, and it is honest about the fact that the causes are indistinguishable from your side for a while.

About the writing
- Why the cards all look the same

- Why no screenshots
- There are no images on this site beyond a mark drawn in the page itself. A screenshot of a market is a claim about what a screen looked like at a moment nobody can verify, and it ages badly without ever announcing that it has aged.
- Why the tone is flat
- A page people reach while something is going wrong should not be exciting. The design here is borrowed from services written for exactly that situation, where being legible under stress matters more than being memorable.
- Can I suggest a wait that is missing
- There is no contact channel on this site, so no. The five questions on where the bands come from are enough to size a wait that has no card, and that is the intended fallback.
